Keep going through the stairs, you will eventually find a Dregling equipped with a flaming sword. Now turn around, to see another Boletaria Soldier on the top of the short stairs. On your right, there is a closed door and on your left a small staircase. You will find a Boletaria Soldier over a wood structure wielding a crossbow, and two more Dreglings on the ground. Beware of the gap on the floor, because falling there will automatically kill you.

It also makes exploration more interesting and worthwhile, as you can at last keep all the items you find. Obviously, it looks utterly lovely now and the framerate is very smooth indeed, but what makes this game interesting are all the quality-of-life improvements Bluepoint Games has made. Each of the five major areas have three levels a piece, with the first area having a few more. Once you have beaten the first level on the first area, the other areas are unlocked. So you can tackle these in whichever order you like and after defeating major demons in each area allows you to progress to the next level.

Playing in the best and most artistic way possible puts you in a dark and stressful world with a high degree of difficulty and challenges you, but as much as it is challenging and punishing, it is also rewarding. Rewards are fun and engaging that you can endure hardships eager to receive rewards. The making of Demon’s Souls Remake was a dream of many of us and we were really happy to hear about the making of this version. Now that we see this reconstruction of a masterpiece itself has become a great masterpiece and has been able to fully preserve the value and originality of the original game. It was really hard work, but we already knew that BluePoint could do that, and fortunately this developer still did not disappoint us.

Don’t be tempted to make a run for the items, if you do so the dragon will crush you. At the top of the staircase, you will spot a Blue Eye Knight. To fight him, try to rush and position yourself far from the void to avoid falling. On the left side, you will find another Boletaria Soldier wielding a crossbow. Eliminate him and there is also another lootable body there containing x2 Late Moon Grass.

While going down, you’ll notice a hole on the wall to your right. Go through it to a small balcony to obtain x1 Unknown Hero’s Soul. Go down all the way to loot x3 Half Moon Grass from a corpse and pull the lever next to the door to open it. Go down the little staircase and turn right to obtain an Unknown Warrior Soul.

A host of other demons and unholy creatures also appear, destroying the living and turning them into soulless monsters. Players can fight massive dragons and other colossal threats standing in their way. Co-op is another returning feature from the original, which can alloow players to fight demons together or each other by invading their worlds with the Black Eye Stone. In a game full of ruthless and evil demons, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to band together to improve each other’s chances of winning.
